Description

This debut book of original compositions by Donna Bowers Bennett includes 20 tunes that range from quiet lullabies to songs to raucous tunes about whisky!  These pieces express different emotions and feelings inspired by life events, creativity and traveling to beautiful places. The pieces evoke different moods, which can give you variety if you are looking for music to reflect different emotions.  Although not technically difficult, these pieces are to be played smoothly with emotion and feeling, best suited to intermediate players.  Donna has used many of these pieces in her work as a Certified Music Practitioner and the she suggests which tunes are best suited to therapeutic work.  All tunes are playable on 34 string harps in Eb, most of the arrangements can be adapted to be played on a 26-string harp.
